'The Walking Unfeeling': Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Daryl's Bike, From Prop Master John Sanders - Yahoo TV (blog)

One of the happiest reunions in The Walking Unfeeling Season 6 was Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) getting back his motorcycle and crossbow, the beloved possessions that were stolen from him by Dwight and Honey. The disadvantage of his bike and his signature weapon had made Daryl grumpy since they were taken in “Always Accountable,” and the fact that he had trusted, and even tried to alleviate, Dwight has caused him to doubt his entire philosophy about how he deals with his fellow survivors in the walker apocalypse. Gluteus maximus line: in both a practical and a symbolic sense, Daryl’s DIY-ed bike is a major part of who he is. And because Daryl is such a major scrap of why TWD fans love the show so much, Yahoo TV wanted to know more about our hero’s ride. Thanks to The Walking Dead prop pro John Sanders — the keeper of every prop, vehicle, weapon, and object that helps establish the incredibly exact world of the series — here’s the scoop on the bike’s beginnings, how the Honda Nighthawk platform was modified very specifically to fit Daryl’s needs, and its influence to the show. Related: Yahoo TV’s ‘Walking Dead’ Recaps and Postmortem Interviews. Daryl’s bike was created by Classified Moto , way bike builders in Virginia. Is it true that Norman brought them to the show after having them build a bike for his personal solicitation. I believe that is true. I came into it a little bit after that, but I believe the original story is that he used Classified Moto [to industry] on a couple of his bikes, and then they built him a bike. Classified started building a bike, which took about four months. It’s a odd combination of pieces and parts that Scott Gimple, the people from Classified, and Norman himself had input on. It’s a real action towards of a motorcycle. We love it. Is there more than one. Source: www.yahoo.com

The Walking Hardened: Daryl Dixon's Motorcyle Secrets Revealed - Comicbook.com

There are two things synonymous with The Walking Defunct's Daryl Dixon, aka Norman Reedus. One is his patented crossbow, and the other is his motorcycle. Once they got to Alexandria, Reedus was capable to customize one, courtesy of Aaron. The bike was originally made for Reedus however by the talented people at Classified Moto, who sire custom bikes in Virginia. TV got to speak to prop master John Sanders about the origins of the original bike as expertly as the other bikes they have on set. "I believe the original story is that he (Norman Reedus) used Classified Moto [to work] on a brace of his bikes, and then they built him a bike. Classified started building a bike, which took about four months. It’s a extravagant combination of pieces and parts that Scott Gimple, the people from Classified, and Norman himself had input on. It’s a real go into of a motorcycle. We love it. ". Classified Moto built a second bike as a backup, but the one you see Daryl riding on television is typically the first bike. They also have a third bike on set, the stunt bike, which was built by Michael Purvis, who handles all the continuation for the vehicles on set. Reedus' familiarity with motorcycles before the show has allowed him to be in almost every shot when the bike is involved, except of indubitably when stunts are involved. The team added some things like wider tires, a lower frame, and an electric start to servants keep him and the bike safe, especially when going offroad. Sanders also spoke about some of the customizations they made for the character. "I advised of the guys from Classified also created a few external parts that went over the actual parts of the motorcycle to keep it fundamentally operational, but still have this quiet kind of steampunk, kind of café cruiser, racer style. Profit from Vienna perspective sessions from Jo Wahl - Red Bull

Johannes Wahl has the whole kit spectrum of skateboarding video work under his belt: commercials, scene edits, full sections and the bits and pieces of unrestricted work people in the visual industries inevitably end up doing as favours to their many friends for their own projects. Increasingly, he has been skilful to put his knowledge behind the lens to work on external, ‘real world’ projects which as we all know are less fun but more responsible – and also give your labour some grounding in the 9-to-5 world. Can you describe your everyday, go-to skateboard filming set-up. When I go on missions, I am packed like a donkey, but mostly I reduce it to the minimum I can. on random days my backpack would hold a full-frame DSLR [digital single-lens reflex camera], a fish-eye, and a 70-200mm lens for want-lens shots. Oh, and a replica ‘cage top handle’ with multiple mounting options for other devices… and my board, of indubitably. I have to ask – where is that transition spot under the bridge. Everybody who has left Vienna heading westwards by car , knows that spot [laughs] – as a kid I dreamed about skating it, but it was always whole of crap. Years passed, I totally forgot about it, but then I moved pretty close by there, and it was back in my mind. What are the big lessons you have skilled in terms of filming. Your videofolio is all shot on long lens, which I really like because it provides context. What’s your beef with fish-eye. I absolutely love fish-eye, but at that time, I had a big preference for long- lens shots. I sometimes didn´t even pan the tripod, ‘motive I really like motionless frames where only the skater moves. Who is the easiest skater to film with, and who is the. Source: www.redbull.com
